Psalm 105:1  (New King James Bible)
0h, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His  name; make known His deeds among the peoples!

What a beautiful way to start our devotion today. I love David Jeremiah’s devotional ”Daily  in His  Presence.”
Here’s why I love it. This very simple but powerful (scripture Psalm 105:1) truth is so easy to apply to our lives.

“Give thanks”- yes be thankful for everything you have, everything you do and all that you are in the Lord.

“Call upon his name.” Speak to the Father as you start and end your day and all the day through. He loves to hear from you.

“Make known his deeds among the peoples!” Tell everyone about God, tell everyone about what He has done for you, how He took you through situations and circumstances in your life. Tell everyone! About Him!

Rejoice
Pray
Give thanks

As  our reading says, the prayerful practice of joy and thanksgiving leaves no room for stress or worry.

Imagine a stress-free , worry- free life. Well this is possible, when you come before the Lord every day to rejoice pray and give thanks.

Trust God not “for” all things but “in” all things. It tells us this in our reading, and what a difference between “for” and “in”. Amen?

This reading is so simple and yet so powerful!!! If you live each day by this simple directive what a change in your day you would see.

So proclaim your faith and give your worries to God. He knows how to handle them;  and you live worry free. This sounds like a great deal to me and so I am going to rejoice, pray and give thanks for another wonderful day in Jesus.

How about you?

Rejoice
Pray
Give thanks.
