Our Missions

 

We minister to New Glasgow Academy through their School Breakfast Program. Any monies designated “Local” will go to support this program.

We also minister to Pastor Gamal Hanna's mission in Egypt.

He recently sent us a letter and pictures as an update.

Ministry Update from Upper Egypt

Dear Pastors, Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In the midst of the unrest and conflict affecting our region, we are grateful to witness that God continues to work powerfully among His people. Even during uncertain times, the ministry is moving forward, and lives are being touched by the Gospel. By God’s grace, the church continues to grow. Today we are serving more than 350 families, with many young people and children actively participating in Sunday school and Church life. It is a great encouragement to see new people coming to faith in Jesus Christ and becoming part of the church family.

For some time, we had been praying for an assistant pastor, and the Lord faithfully answered our prayers. Pastor Hany Noshy has joined us in the ministry and has already become a great blessing to the church and the surrounding community.

The Lord has also opened new doors for outreach.  We have established an evangelism team serving in Tema and the surrounding areas in Upper Egypt, where the city and nearby communities continue to grow. Through this work we are seeing more people hear the Gospel and respond to the message of Christ.

Through our Love Ministry, we continue serving families in need. Each week we hold two gatherings for poor women. Reaching around 700 women, and we have also begun meetings specifically for young ladies. In addition, we provide Sunday school for children from these families, helping them grow in faith and experience hope for the future.

Monira also serves pastors’ wives and ministry families within the Assemblies of God Churches across two districts in Upper Egypt and the middle region, supporting approximately 150 families.

Throughout the year we organize special outreach during Christmas, Easter and the school season. During these times we provide meals for families, help children with school expenses, assist young women preparing for marriage, and support families with medical needs whenever possible.

We thank God for His faithfulness and for friends like you who continue to pray for and support the ministry. Your encouragement and partnership make a lasting difference.

Please continue to pray for the church, the leadership team, and the outreach to many families in need.

Even in difficult times, the light of Christ continues to shine brightly in Upper Egypt, and we are grateful to serve together in His mission.
