Dr. Barclay - Something to think about Walking With God

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
God came down to walk with man, during the time of Adam and Eve. Then after sin entered the world that had all stopped.
Habakkuk 1:13 You are of purer eyes than to behold evil,
And cannot look on wickedness.
The bible states God cannot look on sin. What if everyone on earth followed just one of God’s commandments. What a difference it would make, if no one bore false witness, thus no cheating and no bullying. Salvation in Christ is the only way God recognizes us and then we can walk together with him, once we surrender our lives to him and walk in obedience to him. That is the only way we can walk together with him, when we are in full surrender to him.

Roxann Spicer - Message      Faith = Trust

We cannot let ourselves forget that God is all powerful and sovereign. We must remember that he is God and give him the glory, honour, respect and reverence he is due.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
The passage above puts us all on a level field, no one can boast that they are any better than an other. If we follow the ways of the world and perusing the desires of the flesh, than we are being obedient to Satan himself. God calls us to live by our spiritual being, not our natural being. In the Christian walk we continuously battle against the ways and thought pattern of the flesh.
All the knowledge in the world amounts to nothing if we do not have love for people. Once we submit our lives to Christ, all God’s promises in the bible belong to us. We can wholly trust that God will meet and provide for our needs. We can fully trust Christ, we do not have to live under fear, depression and stress. We need not worry about the world’s time table. We need to trust God with our lives, his timing is perfect and will always be what is best for us.
Habakkuk 2:4 But the just shall live by his faith.
We need to change our way of thinking and not look to this world as our source. God is our source he is what makes life possible.
