Pastor Caroline - May 13, 2020

In our Daily in His Presence devotional written by David Jeremiah, our reading today certainly is self-explanatory and I cannot add much to it.

However, what I will say, is that I am thankful that Jesus loves us enough to be our personal advocate to the Father.  Not only did He die to atone our sins on the cross, but He now stands before the Father on our behalf for every sin we now commit, and promises us eternity with Him.  What a Saviour, what a divine intercessor!!
There is “now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus“.  (Romans 8:1) David reminds us of this in the reading.
How can we not want to fall on our knees and thank Jesus every day for His love to us. Shouldn’t every person on earth be introduced to Jesus, to have the opportunity to accept Him as Lord and Savior?  I certainly would be thrilled to know not one person would miss out on this invitation to say, “Yes Lord I receive you as my Saviour”. These eight words will change YOUR eternity!

Jesus Christ is the intercessor for the church and for every believer. Let this statement really sink into your mind and be thankful to Him that every day He pleads our case to the Heavenly Father.

David Jeremiah writes this very well in our reading today,  so please, read it over and over until you grasp the totality of what he is writing. You do not want to miss this invitation to accept Jesus as your personal Saviour. Ask Him into your heart today and let Him lead you to an eternal life with God the Father.
When you do, you will truly understand the scripture that David opens with in the reading;
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.     Hebrews 7:25.
Let me make this personal, and you can do the same by adding your name.
Therefore Jesus is also able to save Caroline, to the uttermost, Caroline who came to God through Jesus, since Jesus always lives to make intercession for Caroline.
Wow that is powerful when you put your name in and claim this promise as you own. Thank you Jesus for being our divine Intercessor.

Accept Jesus in your heart as your Saviour and He will be your divine intercessor. Then one day, when life here on earth is finished for you, you will spend eternity in heaven where you will never again be tempted or even be in, the presence of sin. What a glorious day that will be!

Then we will all truly understand the gift of salvation to the uttermost!!

Have a very blessed day in a Jesus, our Lord.
