Dr. Barclay – Something to Think About
Feeding of the Multitude
Matthew 14:13-21
Matthew 15:32-38
IMatthew 14:13-21 talks of 12 baskets. 12 baskets can be seen as representative of the 12 tribes of Israel and 12 disciples.
In Matthew 15:32-38 talks of 7 baskets. 7 baskets can be seen as representative of God’s perfect number of completion.
In both of these chapters we learn there was always plenty of food left over. The Gospel is for the Jews first and then to the Gentiles. Gentiles can be seen as receiving the leftovers. The salvation that Christ gives is more than enough for everyone. The gift of salvation is for everyone on the planet and leaves no one out. Just like Christ feeding the multitude and there was more than enough food for everyone, Christ gift of salvation extends to everyone and is more than we will ever need.

Rev. Vincent Hanley- Revival in our Hearts
There is a big difference between having a religion and having the righteousness of God within us.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
We need to be extremely careful what we see and hear and let into our minds.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
We need to remove ourselves from any evil influences, we do not ever want to be involved or touch anything that would interfere with our walk with God.
When we have revival in our hearts and minds, other people around us will see it, hear it and know it.
In our daily conversations, when we respond to others, we should always ask ourselves, is it necessary and is it kind? If not, than we should keep quiet and let the Lord deal with the situation for us, because God is always faithful and he will handle others in just the right way.
We live in a world today where many people have the wrong concept of eternity. We have to believe the whole Bible, not just what others have told us.

Genesis 3:1-6

The devil is forceful, evil and sneaky and he will take everything he can get. If you give him an inch he will take a mile. Christians need to stand firm and tell the devil he is a liar.
When we rise in the morning we need to ask “Lord, what would you have me do today?
