Notes from Sunday's service.  (Thanks, Jean)

Dr. Barclay- Something to think about:
Why are the churches not full? Why are some empty?

1) People often think they are not good enough to be in church.
2) Some think they are too good for church.
3) Pride, some people think they have it altogether and do not need God.

Some people try many things such as drugs, alcohol and sinful lifestyles, before they come back to Christ. No one is ever too good or too bad to come to church. God is a wonderful miracle working God, he can turn any situation around and work out a blessing, we could never have imagined. Our Heavenly Father longs for us all to come home to church and serve him together.

Psalm 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!

Pastor Caroline – Message: Jesus
When we think about the world today we need to remember, Jesus conquerors in the face of every doubt, every sin and every evil. In the name of Jesus there is healing and peace.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

There is nothing happening in or lives that Jesus cannot fix and bring a divine resolution. When we walk together with Christ, he will take away any feeling of loneliness and give us his peace and joy. Christ will give us a sense of contentment and happiness that is hard to fully to explain, almost indescribable.

Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
