 We hold Alice Boudreau and her family in prayer as they sat with Ludger on Sunday evening, July 23 as he went to be with Jesus. 

When they had to let go, God took Ledger by the hand and said "Welcome home". 

Our thoughts and prayers are with Alice, Darin and Tena, Dakota and Chris and Bryson.

Dr. Barclay - Something to think about

Theme: We are to grow and mature spiritually and trust Christ will reveal all things we need to know in his time.

1 Corinthians 13:11-12

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

Many people do not understand there is a world of spirits just like there is a physical world. There is a great spiritual warfare going on around us. Right now in the present we do not see and know everything. Many times we only see things in the physical world and do not realize what is happening in the spiritual. Some Christians are content to stay where they are and not grow up spiritually. In the Christian life we are to grow and mature and put away the things of a sinful lifestyle and not go back to them. During this temporary, physical life, there are many things we may not fully know, comprehend or understand. However throughout eternity with Christ we will fully know and understand, what was impossible for us to fathom now and could not know previously.

We will always remember Isabell Riggs and hold her in our hearts. 

She went to be with Jesus on Saturday July 15 2017, entering her eternal home and standing in the presence of her Saviour.  

Our thoughts and prayers are with her loving family and all her friends.

Dr. Barclay-Something to Think About

Theme: The devil is out to lie and deceive. God is faithful what he says he means and will do.

 Genesis 3:1-13 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LordGod had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

In the garden the devil took on the form of a snake, planting doubts in the mind of Eve to undermine God. The devil does the same to us today. “Did God really mean what he said?” Satan always tries to plant doubts in the minds of the believers. Satan has deceived the whole world, we see written in Revelation 12:9. Believers can be deceived easily. Sometimes even the church has deceived people. Some people have been deceived into thinking they can say the sinners prayer and then be off the hook and free to live their life as they choose from then on. In the book of Joshua we read we are to mediate on the law day in and day out.

Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Psalm 1:2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.

Over time we as Christians have made things too easy on ourselves and compromised too much.

--Is there really an eternity?, are there really consequences?

Did God really mean what he said? Yes he did!!!

Rev. Steve Webb- Theme: We must be bold and courageous and not afraid to tell the Gospel.

 Matthew 9:35-38 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Jesus spent time teaching the people the love of God having compassion on them and healing them of their various sicknesses. What these people were searching for was right there in front of them all along, and yet still some failed to see he was the one they were needing and waiting for. As we go out into the world teaching people the kingdom of God is at hand. We must realize there will be people out there who do not want to hear our message and do not want us to preach it and will be in opposition to it. But we must not fear or be discouraged, because some one out there- we may never know who, needs to hear about the love of God. Many people in the world today are being imprisoned and killed for their commitment to Christ.

Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Jesus did not just stay in the synagogue he went out among the people, in their villages on the mountainside- he went to where the people were. The world is ripe for harvest right in front to us, that is why we must tell the gospel whenever possible.

Michael Knoll-Theme: Are We Wearing Pressure Well?

 We are all enrolled in the school of the spirit—learning about God everyday till we pass away. We are like newly planted trees, that need steaks to hold them up. We need the bible as a base and foundation and seasoned Christians to support us. We are three part beings body mind and soul. Everyday life equals pressure and it takes a heavy toll on the physical body as well as the spiritual. The pressures of life affect our bodies in different ways. We face pressure in the natural and we face pressure in the spiritual. It is not easy being a christian, yet the verses below help us put everything in perspective, the trials of this life are temporal. Yet Christ is eternal and our inheritance in heaven is worth it all.

2 Corinthians 4:5-18

16-18 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We are all part of a spiritual war taking place in the heavenlies and we need to fight spiritual warfare with prayer and scripture (Ephesians 6:10-18).  We may wear pressure well in the natural-- but there is only one answer for the pressure that builds in our soul; full surrender to God, just like Christ showed on the cross, saying to the Father not my will but thy will be done. (Matthew 26:36-42)

This dedicated husband and wife team are passionate worship leaders, songwriters, and communicators with an anointing to lead people into the tangible presence of God in a very sincere and heartfelt way. They are currently ministering in worship and word through their Hearts of Motion (heartsofmotion.com)ministry as God continues to open doors for them! 

          Part of their passion is also in teaching and equipping others to awaken to an awareness of God's presence in their everyday lives and to remind them that everywhere they go, they carry the power and presence of God with them to bring His love to the world!

Dr. Barclay-Something to Think About

Theme: True Godly biblical fear.

 Worry is a form of fear. People worry about many different things. Much of the fear we experience is due to the circumstances we face. Many of the heroes of the bible faced fear such as Moses and Elijah. God called Moses to speak to Pharaoh- to tell him to let the Children of Israel go free. Exodus 4:10 -13 Moses was afraid pleading with God that he felt inadequate and was not a confident speaker and slow of speech. In 1 Kings 19:1-4 Jezebel sends a messenger to Elijah informing him she intends to kill him the next day, he is filled with great fear he runs and hides, sitting under a tree and wishing to die.

Fear is mentioned over 400 times in the bible. Many times we read fear not in the bible (Luke 2:10). We are to have a spirit of faith not fear. Yet we also read in the bible to fear God. To fear God is more than respect; it is a fear of awe, apprehension and reverence. We must remember procrastination has sent many to hell not heaven; true fear of God causes us to act and do what is right, not put off righteous for another time. In the world today we do not have the fear of God that we need. Today we are living in the days of Noah (Genesis 6:5). People are doing what they think is right in their own eyes, regardless of whether it is or not. We need to fear God now more than ever.

 Roxann Spicer- Theme: Never let he crowd discourage you from calling out to God in prayer.

 Matthew 20:29-34

 29 Now as they went out of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.30 And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

31 Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

32 So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

33 They said to Him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.”34 So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

From this scripture we learn these two blind men were consistent. They did not let the crowd deter them, they continued to shout all the more louder. These two men were determined and persistent. Jesus stopped for these two men and asked them what do you want and they replied we want to see. These two men were tired of the way things were, they were ready to move on and desperately wanting change. We all should take a lesson from these two men, times of desperate need cause us to strip away all pride, self reliance and pity and get down to the truth. These men realized they had a one time moment in front of the, Jesus was passing by. This was their divine opportunity for a breakthrough. They overcame their insecurity and doubt, they had a need and it was driving them. Jesus did not rebuke them like the crowd, he simply had compassion on them met them right were they were. These men were honest with themselves and honest with God. Jesus touched their need, opened their eyes and they were never the same. This affected their feeling of uselessness, enabled them to work and be productive and provide for themselves from then on. This is what Christ wants from all of us to cry out to him with our need and not be discouraged by the worldly crowd. Remember he is just as close as the mention of his name.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

God is moving and here at Master's Hand Ministry we are excited to see what He has in store for our two newly credentialed members. 
John and Roxann Spicer were ordained in our Relational Gathering Conference on June 23rd., held at Faith Christian Fellowship in Moncton. It is  indeed a pleasure to welcome them as ministers moving forward in the  work  they love to do for the Lord. 

Congratulations to Rev. John and Rev. Roxann Spicer and may God continue to bless you in His service.

Dr. Barclay-Something to Think About

Theme: Like we would our earthly parents, we are to obey and surrender to Christ, placing full confidence in him and not doubt.

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

 In God’s eyes we are all children. We are to obey and surrender to God, just like we would to our earthly parents. Abraham obeyed Father God in this way, such as leaving the land of Ur of the Chaldees and his willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac.

The disciples knew Christ for about three years, yet they did not fully believe and surrender everything.

Mark 6:-49-52 And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; 50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”51 Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled. 52 For they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened.

 The disciples still did not recognize Christ. We are often like the disciples; walking with Christ, yet do not realize we were walking with him all a long and did not recognize him with us. There is a difference between talking about surrendering and actually doing it.

Wesley Whidden- Theme: God longs to fellowship with us and met our needs, we need only to ask.

 Names of God

 Elohim- Creator

Yahweh- Covenant keeping God

El Shaddai- All Mighty God

 John 14:6-14

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

 What we ask in Jesus name, God will provide that he may be glorified. We need to get rid of all fear and worry and trust that God will provide. We need to cast out every thought that is contrary to what God thinks of us. God wants to reveal himself-Father God to people who do not know him. The times we spend alone with God in secret is the most important for the believer. The best times we will ever have is one on one with the Father and he will pour into us and reveal his heart to us more and more.

Dr. Barclay-Something to Think About

Theme: God has already promised blessings and protection, but to receive them we must do our part by serving him.

Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace.

Ephesians 1:5-6 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

 When we read the bible we learn that God has done his part for us to receive these blessings noted in scripture, now we must do our part.

Matthew 7:22-23- Not everyone who says, Lord Lord will get into heaven, only those who do the will of the Lord will see heaven. If we love the Lord we will submit to God, submission is the key. The bible is full of promises and blessings for the believer, but they only apply to us as long as we are serving God. If we go astray and do own will, we cannot expect God’s blessings and protection to follow us.

Roxann Spicer -Theme: Blessings for those who walk with God are outlined in both the Old and New Testament.

Chapter 61 of Isaiah parallels with Matthew 5:1-12

Isaiah 61:2 God will take care of all vengeance and comfort those who mourn.

v-3 Garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness and the oil of joy for mourning- that through it all the Lord would be glorified

 Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those that mourn-God shall comfort them.

v-12 Rejoice and be glad for great is the reward we shall receive in heaven, although we may be persecuted here on this earth, if we hold fast we will reap our heavenly reward.

The Good News impacts a person’s life to glorify God. We are to acknowledge and reveal the splendour of God by our actions. When we help to meet the needs of others we are living out scripture.

Blessed-Comforted by inner peace and God’s love.

Blessed-Joy in God’s goodness and absolutely inexhaustible reward.

Blessed-Morally courageous and spiritually alive in life.
